So delighted to have found this "gem"! 9 ladies had a most comfortable and relaxing few days - we couldn't have wished for a more hospitable place o stay and hope to revisit in the future to use Sheldon Barn and Sheldon Cottage for our base for glorious Peak Disttrict Walks.

Lovely cottage, well equipped. All home comforts from the microwave to the washing machine; the cake was lovely, the eggs and marmalade super and the girls both enjoyed their welcome Bonio's. Weather could have been better, but the cosy cottage, made coming back after a long walk very welcoming and warm. Stephen and Louise were great hosts welcoming when we first arrived and were available if needed but inobtrusive for the rest of the weeks stay. Would highly recommend this cottage to our friends.

A comfortable, weel appointed cottage deserving of the lavish praises of fomer guesdts in this book. For us it has been a welcome respite while our own has been renovated for most the year - oh, the luxury of a hot bath after a days' hike!
