Description

If you're looking for a choice of cosy Peak District cottages, then have a look below at Sheldon Cottage,or how about Sheldon Barn both rated 4 star by the ETC... Both our cottages are located in the White Peak District for sightseeing and walking.



On your arrival at the Cottage, you will find a pint of milk, a supply of tea, coffee and sugar, a jar of homemade marmalade, some homemade cake or biscuits and some 'speckledy' eggs from the farm just up the bridleway!

Sheldon Cottage




Sheldon Cottage, the most idyllic of Peak District cottages, is built of natural limestone and has been carefully rebuilt from a former half-thatched farmer's cottage.
We think you'll find everything you require in Sheldon Cottage.


  • Two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and a single bed, and one with two single beds.
  • Large living room with wood burning stove (logs provided)
  • Excellent fitted kitchen/breakfast room, fully equipped including dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave & electric cooker.
  • Ground floor WC/Utility Room (washing machine and tumble dryer)
  • Bathroom, with shower/bath, washbasin and WC.
  • Cottage garden with BBQ.
